Brief: To update an existing tarmac surface to an all-weather multi sport surface. To also investigate drainage problems within the area and find a surfacing solution to suit.

Surfacing Installed : There are many multi sport surfaces to choose from so our client was pleased to receive our expert advice to help select the right surface for their needs. They required a low maintenance all year round service suitable for most sports. 
Our matchwinner velour surface was the ideal solution. A high performance UV stable vertical loop needlepunch surface with sand infill giving a soft underfoot feel and non abrasive finish. Typically preferred by primary schools and parish councils. 

The Challenges: The client advised the site had poor drainage within the area and was often out of use due to large puddles gathering. 
The existing tarmac was removed and investigative drainage inspections were undertaken. 
A series of soakaways designed to drain through the impermeable sub soil layer beneath were installed to rectify these issues. 

The Outcome: The school were thrilled with the transformation from a dull tarmac area to a bright and inviting multi sports area. 
The surfacing is manufactured in the UK with a minimum 5 year warranty.
